Found my first silver coin today!

Woohoo! Found this 1902 Barber Quarter while I was out detecting in the woods that use to be field. I'm pretty happy considering I found a 1909 Wheat cent as well. Can't wait to go back!

Congrats on a really nice first silver coin. Not too many people start with a Barber quarter. I started with a Barber dime, that makes you two and a half times better than me! GL&HH.

Not some '64 Roosevelt dime to start you out but a beautiful 1902 Barber Quarter. Congrats, That is one lucky first silver.

A 64 Rosie was my first silver and boy was I excited. I can only imagine how you feel with a nice Barber as your first. Congrats to you. That is awesome!

You got that right! Wish I could get out there every day. Full time job and an 18 month old makes my outings few and far between. A couple more years though and the little man will be coming out with me!
