found my first silver but not coins

Hi i have been playing with my ACE 250 for around a week at the beach with out much luck 1.87 in new coins. Two days age I decided to check out my back yard and the md started to ring for silver out by my shed. I dug down 2 inches and found what first looked like a rock, but heavy, I dug up three more in around a 1 foot area. I took them into my shop and cut the end off and it appered to be silver, I then put it in a pan and melted it with MAP gas. I had a nice puddle of silver. Took it to jewely store yesterday and it tested as pure silver. The 4 nuggets way around 4 ounces. But i have no idea how thed got there this housing development was built in the 1980's. See attached picture.. I know i saw a similer post just a little while ago but I could not find it.

PLayed in my backyard and found two more silver nuggets and 14 cents see picture

Maybe it was coin silver? Something like a Gold Splash I heard of where people would melt gold coins down or shave some off and still spend them at face value or something. Nice score though thats about 120.00 in silver for 4 ounces
