found my first crotal bell. found my second crotal bell. found my third crotal bell

Went sifting at my site yesterday and found more pottery to put back together. While digging this one section I kept seeing buttons in the dirt. Gathered them up and also saw what I thought was a big clay marble. It was too round to be a rock. Then I found another and another. Cleaned them up a little with a toothbrush I had with me and found out that they were croton bells. First time finding one and I end up finding three!

here are my finds from yesterday. The pottery I will show after they are glued together. As you can see I also found a three tine fork and a drawer plate that says 'East Stroudsburg National Bank"s well as suspender parts and clay marbles and a lantern part.

Thanks for viewing.

Great bunch of finds. I go to music concerts in East Stroudsburg sometimes. Thanks for sharing:coffee2:

Nice! I wanna find a croton bell. Only bell I've found was a huge homemade one.

Great finds Funkman, sifting seems like it would take much patience:thumbsup:

BTW I thought they were called "crotal" bells?

Keep at it and HH!

you're right. My bad!

sifting is time consuming but with the amount of square nails here it is much more productive...as you can see

Thanks
