Found my first cache! Wasn't what i was expecting!!

Went out yesterday for a short hunt to some old home sites i seen from the road close to home. The part of town is old, my city was founded in 1825 so there is alot of places to detect. I was detecting near a old foundation wall and found a old Akron,Ohio police school badge. The school is only numbered to 2, But on the badge it says Bowen # 3. Once i know more I'll post it. But back to my first cache..Found this next to a old foundation wall, thought I had found a great treasure...Opened it up and "OH ! "look at the pictures. Took pictures and threw it away. Guess somebody is going to be unhappy next time they need a fix.. Be Safe and HH.

Thanks all for the comments. The Badge doesn't have any markings on the back and the clasp is missing. As for the drug stuff I destroyed it and threw it away. I have a brother that is hooked on drugs, a real waste of life. HH

Wow.... a meth pipe, a crack pipe, a weed pipe, plus syringes! that was a serious users kit. Good thing you got rid of it before some kids found it. I personally wouldn't have touched anything in that box, I hope you wore gloves!

That's quite the variety. Metal weed pipe, glass for smoking meth or crack, needles for meth most likely..........and the dreaded bath salts. Sometimes finds transcend all money or value.........and translate into just doing the right thing. You may have saved some kid from getting poked by a contaminated needle, or worse.. Nice work my friend

Thanks again everybody. I did wear gloves..lol As I stated my brother is hooked on drugs really bad. I tried them before, just wasn't for me. I have enough problems just trying to live life as it is. Guess some addict is "MAD" at me, I keep wondering why the back of my neck is itching, oh yeah it's the addict cussing me out for finding his stash..HH
