I found my first 2 Center today! It's an 1868. I was detecting a park after work for about an hour
and what a surprise. I need to start paying more attention to the penny VDI's, I hate to think
how many of these I may have passed up. I haven't cleaned it yet, (don't really know the best way) sorry about the pics, it looks
better in person.

A very nice looking 2 center, I don't think I'd do anything different to it................HH

That is fabulous! Enlarging your pics, I realized your 2 cent coin isn't worn down much at all -- WONDERFUL! As to nails, I persistently dig them at our beaches, snarling quietly at the lazy people who burn pallets there for night bonfires and leave plenty of nails under the sand when putting their fires out. I dig nails so kids will never step on them as they play on the beach -- and last month got my "reward" after digging 7 nails close together and expecting an 8th nail, but instead out popped a lovely Thai silver ring with row of small diamonds, faux or real, it's lovely. Just my long-winded way of recommending digging all trash signals IF you have enuf time that day. HH Andi

A Purdy one! Uh-huh.... (Can you guess the movie this rhetoric is from?) Anyhow, Congratulations.

Sweet coin!!!
