Detector(s) used
MXT/ Sunray probe
Found this knife at my local park today, I didn't need the detector as it was just laying there on the ground. Some kid probably took it from dad and lost it. Anyway, the strange thing is, it's engraved with 1939 and JH with a crude engraver (home made), on the rear of the handle. The blade is stamped with an arrow and Stainless Steel. Is this knife old? Did they even have stainless in 1939? It is a switchblade in very good shape and it does look old even though it says stainless steel.. Any Ideas??

Yes it is!! Pretty cool hu? What I'd really like to know is, what manufacture is the arrow mark? And how old is it? How far back does the use of stainless steel in switchblades go? I looked around on google for awhile with no luck. ???
