I had found a JRM LYON button the other day and was excited about it as it was near (120m) a Native American metal arrow point manufacturing camp. I could assume that it was probably lost by an Indian but never could be definitive. Well, today I walked down there figuring I had picked up all of the targets when I had a nice sound on the detector. I looked down and there was another JRM LYON button about half way between the first button and arrow point area. Although I still can not be 100% positive these were dropped/lost by an Indian I am even more confident now.
Buttons measure 13.6mm in diameter. Raised lettering. Look at the “O” in LYON and you will notice another “O” above it. A possible error?
