Looks like one of those things you scrape the mud off your boots on. Don't know what they're called. Just a wild guess

Well, wouldn't be a boot scraper for snow, that's for sure.
Mud maybe. But I'm not sure what those look like.

Maybe it's a part off an aircraft flying into Fort Lauderdale or Miami International.
Or, something used by drug smugglers to tie-off the bales of air-dropped ilicit drugs.
Just thinking outside the box.

It looks like some kinda suspension part that had a stiffener welded on top of it. And poorly welded at that.
