found in pennies

Since the ground and chips in the playgrounds are frozen solid thought I would get a box of pennies to see if I could find any Wheaties. Did but also found a Indian. Was excited first for me in and out of the ground

Nice! I found an Indian head in a roll today as we'll. It was a 1896. It is the 2nd I have found crh. They are not common so I am very excited. Happy hunting!

Great rare find. I also found one in penny rolls a few years back. I do not think it happens very often.

It does have that green corrosion,but 1899 was a good bit ago.face looks pretty sharp to have come out the ground.maybe found in ground along time ago.

They are still out there. In 2013 I found a 1859 IH in Vf, and a 1891, in VG.
