Hi all,

I am new to the prospecting side of treasure hunting. During a trip to locate a buried treasure I came across a gold bearing area. The area has only been worked on the panning side. But I have located a large slate area that apears to have several white streaks/lines running through it...Is this an indication of a vien?

What is the best way to work a creek that gives the least environmental impact?
Any and all advice is welcome....I have no idea what the best way to prospecting is.

I have attached acouple of photos

Thanks

Not me - I'm just waiting for the solicitation post next. No pics of actual hunt. No MD brands listed under avatar. Financial English newspaper. No matrix rock
attached to any gold. Color of gold too consistant. Spanish archives showing up in search for Japanise war treasure. Total newbie finding ounces the first time hunting for gold. Too many red flags for this skeptic.
I hope i'm wrong.

Doubt this is real... but as for advise if it is
1. Forget Japanese Cache
2. PM the exact location to me
3. Hike back there and get panning if you do not want to carry equipment.

I looked at the photo of the english newspaper. The writer of the top article is Doris C Dumlao, a financial writer for the Philippine Daily Inquirer out of Manila. The article refers to Pepsi and she wrote a series of articles in February and March of this year.

Did you post about this months ago? I think I remember this story..

I dont know if its real or not. I would like to know what detector..the actual amount dug to recover that. It does look like gold but, is very clean. There are numerous Islands in the south pacific with english newspapers. Why would he fake post. I am pretty sure when you find gold in the Phillipines it is property of the government and you cant leave with it so it would be sketchy to post it:dontknow:

I looked at the previous previous posts, and it would seem that he has been actively seeking and researching shipwrecks...for what it is worth.

Call me gullible, but I believe him.

GG~

No controversy here, we can agree to disagree - like I said above, I really hope I'm wrong.

Ive seen gold like that in small coastal stringers.Cant say if thats real or fake or if the story is either, but the stuff I found had all the same characteristics it was just alot smaller evan at the source it was smooth.

Any updates on this OP Attila? Also it looked like 3 diff screen names for 1 user is this possible on Tnet did you notice that Oakview when you searched?

Yeah now I just got one name when I searched don't know if I was imagining it but was pretty sure oh well.

Update:

To answer some questions
1...it is not BS

2...I was looking in the spanish archive because they used to be in possession of the islands and have old maps

3...the japenese cahce is a local legend from the women in the red hat. she told me, her grandfather was blind folded one day and taken in to the hills, in to a cave were he and some other locals had to dig a hole and bury five very heavy boxes, he could tell he was not far into the cave because he could still see light from the entrance....so it is worth investigating

4...these photos are from last week, is this gold dust, it looks like it to me, the locals call it something else, they say it is from the forrest people, some sort of magical people that control the nature and gold....it was on the surface of the mud along the creeks, i am not sure if it is or not. please comment....the whole area buzzes with a metal detector, but it is full of rocks, that are some sort of metal, but not gold....i think maybe iron.

5...the other photos are of me looking at the quarts veins in the creek i think the gold comes from. The river that the creek feeds into is know for placer mining since spanish times.

I returned to the states this morning,
I am having some difficulty there, the island and area is some what isolated, it is a small island and the people don't speak english very well, only a few words. they are very superstitious about these forrest people. I am also trying to figure out the mining laws for the island, it may be a protected area.

PS, If you don't believe this is real...I don't care.
But for those who have given me advice, thank you very much, it has been helpful.

A very interesting tale and I hope you continue to keep us updated, the gold was outstanding.:icon_thumleft:

Attila I apoligize if I implied anything nefarious but it is a little strange to find that much and know how to melt it etc your first week. Why tell anyone period, people will figure it out rush over there and if it wasnt legal there before it will be now... If seems like you don't need help to me just pan and get rich. Have you ever had any other screen names here on Tnet if you don't mind my question? 2nd pic is where I'd dig because I can see the magnetite on the surface. Good luck

A couple questions

1...Has any one used the Goldcube?
2...I watched a video where a guy was recommending useing a Goldcube then a Blue Bowl. Would this be a good techique?

I read through some of the post, very interesting comments. They remind me of this song:

Yes I have a Goldcube if you answer screen name question I'll tell you about it:)

Yes several years ago I had one or two different screen names...but i don't remember them. That's why i started a new name two years ago. I have been researching his treasure for 15 years.

I am not to worried about someone discovering the location....It ain't easy to find. You have to take a private boat to the island and basically know someone to even get near the place without being shot by the locals. I know the lady in the red hat. She was raised there on the island.

I am not really trying to get rich, i own my own business and do rather well...I am a treasure hunter...the locals will get rich.

Thanks for the advice. I will have the locals check that area in the 2nd photo. They currently use wooden bowls along the river.
I am trying to send equipment that would work better.

tell them to make a wooden highbanker with longtom sluice box ,run several yards an hour instead of sending equipment itself just mail them the plans lmao try craigslist maybe trade a tiny little fleck of the yella stuff you have so much of.........

Ok cool no problem I just wanted to clear that up. Yes a goldcube would work well with a blue bowl but it can be heavy with battery etc. If you were in isolated area I would take extra bilge pumps and 2 batteries a charger and prob a solar one. A good pan to get would be a Fossickers pan or really anything with riffles would be better than wood. One plus of the goldcube for this might be that it doesn't have much/any of a footprint enviro wise, it's quiet and non polluting. A downside is it likes small material and you could highbank away some nuggets. I guess you could detect tailing pile and be ok tho. Let me know if you have other questions.
