Found GOLD in the BRADSHAWS......updated by db

This rock tips the scales just over 20 lbs.......Found today in the Bradshaws.... .....just stumbled on to it.....walking in a fresh (new) river bed.....carved out by a winter storm....
This thing makes the metal detector SCREAM.....

I think it's a shame it was destroyed.... but I didn't find it so I don't get a vote. It's your rock, do whatever you want with it, obviously.

That is quartz.....but its not always in quartz

WOW! Gratz on that find. Just shows that there is plenty of gold in AZ. There has been alot found and alot more to come. You can tell its gold by looking at it. pyrite looks more olive in color after being in weather conditions. That is nice and shiny. Not familiar with The bradshaws but if i were you i would hunt that place hard. Good luck on the assay and future finds.

I do agree, there is a distint lack of replys to our questions. I always answer everyones questions & since I joined it probably at least 2000. Why are we keep in the dark about the simple facts

I understand keeping some of it to yourself but not even a courteous "hey guys sorry but..." Crusader you have in fact answered every question I've asked so I know you are practicing what you preach. Thank you for that too because I enjoy learning about the things you find

Dan posted the square picture at the request of the mods, it was the members who voted it on the banner, I do not think Dan is being rude by not revealing more information then he is comfortable giving....I do think it is wrong for people to say he is being rude by not giving out more information if he chooses not to.
