do you love it when a non hole filling jerk miss's the "good stuff"?

First of all, I hope that wasn't directed at me? Second, this is getting out of hand, just so everyone understands, this is just a little busting chops between friends, but when people start throwing words around like "jerk" I think we are crossing a line? ivan, I hope your just kidding around, there really wasn't anything left in a previously dug hole, George found that with a new program to use around iron with his Deus.

See I knew you had more then 1 feeling left....No seriously. ..Treblehunter was no were near that spot.....He's just so easy pickings....

I agree. What's with the low blows? It's obvious these guys are just busting balls.

#winning! Nice recoverie. Just goes to show that you should always double check those iffy signals and overloads :icon_thumright:

Great digs. Looks like a ramrod tip above the rusted piece above the key from my view anyway.. Congrats on your bracelet and the Indian looks good.

Good eye! Even at high zoom, I can't be sure that it is in fact a ramrod tip but it does look like it may be. The only other thing that I can think of is an Ignition Lock Cylinder from an old automobile.

Vino... Congrats on a great find! It looks like you will have plenty of stuff to take to the Recylers once you go through and remove the relics.

I hope you know bud that I never stop joking around and if ever you think I cross a line you will say so. Not sure why some get so nasty sometimes. Can't we all just get along :-)

I might have titled the thread differently :laughing7:
HA HA I read it that way too. Of all the things you're likely to find in someone else's hole, most of them are not good!

Guess it depends how much you love gold :-)

True true - sometimes you gotta dig a lot of cr-p to get the good stuff. Lollllll

And the moral of this story is, "ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS double check the hole".

Someone forgot to do so and you made out great as a result.

Really nice find.

not directed at anyone here -- just saying in general don't you love it when your refilling a "slob" hunter's open holes and make a great find that the "slob" hunter missed -- clearly I'm NOT calling folks here" slob hunters" because we don't do that type of stuff .

I love all you guys, even if you bust my chops, all us metal detecting professionals have to stick together. All my relatives are sick of hearing me talk about MD ing

Kinda loses something when one hasta 'splain 'em, don't it. ;) LOL

But, I'm with you. Revenge is sweet, in some cases. :)

But, mostly, the main reason someone might miss a target in the same hole but deeper is that their detector or skills aren't good enough to detect something deeper than they dug. Sure, some may forget, but that's not usual.

or there was some crap in the hole and they found and pitched it --but forget to "recheck" the hole in their hurry to move on to the next hole (of course because their in such a "hurry" they never refill their holes) ruining things for everyone else.--good hunters often wind up having to refill holes for those "slob" hunters --the reward is when you find a good target that the "slob hunter" screwed up on and let behind..
