FOUND WHILE CLEANING OUT VERY OLD BASEMENT ,GERMAN BEER I THINK NOT SURE ,MUST BE EARLY TIME BEER MAYBE CAN ANY BODY HELP TELLING WHAT IT MIGHT BE SYMBOL AND USED FOR AND VALUE..THANKS TO ALL.

Looks like a cruet, but I couldn't tell you about the logo.

What does the bottom look like?
Never seen any coontainer for beer looking like that...

The mark looks like the Royal Crest/ Coat of arms of the kingdom of Bayern (Bavaria) in Germany but hte lions face the wrong way and the crown is all wrong...
IS there text below the coat of arms that is worn down or am I seeing things...

Looks somewhat like the current Lowenbrau logo (means the Lions Den) - the brewery has been around for 600 years, located in Munich Germany, maybe its one of their early bottles? Try e-mailing them the picture, they possibly may be able to date it for you, if it is one of their early bottles, nice find and save.

Lowenbrau means "Lion's Brew" not lion's den. That is not a Lowenbrau beer bottle. Lowenbrau was also owned By Miller for some time and made here in America, then sold to a Canadian company and made there, back to being made only in Munich now.

Very cool bottle. While I cannot say who's coat of arms it is, I can tell you a bit about the coat of arms itself. The impression is not sharp, so this is my best guess.

The shield is Paly-bendy or "fusilly in bend sinister,"
The supports could be lions, but I think they are wolves rampant.
On top of the shield it looks like a crown, more so then a coronet. The crown looks like it has three fleurs-de-lis.
