Nice stuff. The two pewter buttons appear to be of American design. I have not seen that on the face before. Maybe someone else will chime in.

15 minute bath in warm hydrogen peroxide, then brief light buff with #800-1200 wet sandpaper. readable back marks will help with dating

Sure love those relics, congratulations! :occasion14:

Well done nice finds . Keep pounding that site!!!!!!!!

nice finds!

Come on guys/gals. I've been bragging about the experts here on T-Net ;) Tentis is a member in a group on Facebook, and when he posted his finds I couldn't think of anywhere else to send him for information. These look like possible Revolutionary unit buttons, but I could be wrong....

Those look more like old bale or cloth seals to me. The ampersand or β€œ88” stamps are quite crude, even for a rev war item. I may be wrong but that’s my take. Regardless, looks like a nice site you’ve discovered there.

Ok. I been told those are infinity mark and they were used on "common"clothes. Coat buttons, on normal coats. I'm not 100% though.

This looks to be a saddle shield decoration, very nice.
