Found by a swimming hole

I found this freaky token while detecting near a swimming hole. I know what the letters stand for but I want to know what the token was used for? It is unfortunate that such an organization exists.

Looks like maybe a token for a Pizza Place that somebody struck "KKK" into.

on the KKK side you can see the typical good luck inscription, KKK is not stamped over it
the the KKK letters look embossed, - raised photoshop?
theres no sign of the kkk stamping on the opposite side

Looks like it was stamped over a real coin. Maybe it was a member badge something like miners used in the mines?

Looks like they were drilled and maybe worn around the neck,hidden under the shirt,to be produced to another clan member to show they were a member also.Sort of like the "can't afford a real nice one,so i made this instead" kinda thing.?

Thats a very similar stamp. It would seem that the stamp is official. I guess the modern KKK cant afford to mint their own tokens.
