Found a walker in the woods

Found this at a park in Louisville today. Almost did not dig because the signal was jumping from silver to pulltab/nickle. But that silver kept screaming. Turned out to be a 1942 nickle in the hole with the half. Sorry about the photo quality. It's in better shape than it looks.

...and you should...it's still a dandy find, and even more fun weren there's more than one coin in the hole. I had a hole that I figured contained a silver dime....and so I did find a silver dime....and the signal was still there. I ended up taking 3 silver dimes (2 rosies and a merc) out of that one hole. I was bummed when the signal finally did disappear.

Ok, my newbieness is shining through. When I saw the subject I had the kind of walker envisioned that helps people walk and I was wondering why that would be such a big deal since it would be something you wouldn't have to dig for. I was skipping over this one, too, untill this morning. Boy, have I got a lot to learn!
