Found a park with some relics! 1883 nickle!

Went to a park in the middle of town and found relics! Never saw that coming.

The man on horseback is really pretty. And of course I love the V nickel. Great hunting!

That nickel is the first year for V nickels. They added the word cents because the coins were getting plated to look like $5 gold coins of the time.

Really cool! It fascinates me how nickles come out of the ground with that rust/reddish brown color.
