Found a nice agate today - and I left it in place

Walking back up the driveway from taking the garbage out I had to stop and look at a rock that caught my eye. Sure enough, my first agate find of 2017. It sits right where I found it, embedded in my driveway.



Nice to know that I can find things when there is still snow cover.

Thanks! When I was looking for a house I was going for something away from town primarily for stargazing/astrophotography but also to enjoy nature and peace and quiet. I have been here 7 years now and have no regrets. Also I've pulled over 100 agates from the yard.
