I went out today to a spot I hadn't been to in about 4 years since it's such a long drive to get there, but it really paid off. I was already in the area for a work related reason and thought I would drive on up and see if the field was plowed and it turned out it was and deep rolled to boot. I called my brother after I got there and he said he had been there a couple of weeks ago and that it hadn't had any rain on it then. I asked him where the best spots were to hunt since I've only hunted there a couple of times and he told me to check the far end of the field that he had found some nice pieces down there. I hadn't been there 25 minutes when I spotted the Axe from about 25 feet away. At first I thought it might be a Celt and then I got closer and saw the groove. I wish I had gotten a picture of it when I first saw it from a distance, but I was to excited to get the close ups and make sure it was whole.

It has a little bit of damage to one side of the Poll end, but the blade is almost perfect. It is 4 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches high, and 2 inches wide. It is made from a greenish blue mottled Granite and is very heavy for it's size. One feature I really like is it has the same groove that is normally along the bottom of 3/4 Grooved Axes is also along the top of it as well between the blade and the hafting groove.

So, without further ado, here are the pics.

Here you go Steven.

The first picture is the only other complete Axe I have ever found.

The next few pictures show the Axes I have bought either at auctions or off of individuals. It also shows all of my better Celts and Pestles that I have found myself.
