1803 that is- sorry

Found this beauty after work in a colonial period
Field
Rang up a screaming 42 on my xterra.
Just had to post this coin because of the spectacular
Condition. The clarity and detail on the reverse made me for the first instant think I found Spanish silver. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501033030.175228.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1501033053.878572.jpg

That is a SWEET DBLC! I have a few early 1800s Matrons with that patina and a couple KGs, but no DB that looks like that. Very impressive coin relicmeister.

What a beautiful old copper, congratulations! :notworthy:

What cleaning technique did you use? I have an 1802 with a good amount of details but i havent attempted anything yet. Your turned out nice. Great find.

It was so clean out of the ground all I did was wipe it with a rag and a little Tarnex then rubbed with chap stick

You colonial state guys and gals are to be envied on all the early American finds you make. That thing is in beautiful condition, especially the reverse side! Congratulations from a humble admirer.
