Found a good one today

Now I just have to know what it is.
Went to the Eva bar today. It’s a long walk but always worth it. Water is getting low now and as it drops I find more. No hard stone yet but I’m hoping. Looks Archaic to me and is made from a quartzite. I still have to clean everything up. I will post the rest another day. But I’m interested in the type of this one?

I lightened the colors up a bit on this one so maybe the flaking will show better and the stripes are seen

I have to check the other side for bevel might be why that side is different. I believe most knives were hafted sideways and the bases were used instead of being hafted at the base. jmo, thanks

No bevel and no breakage on the straight side no notch.

I know maybe I can find another one but being a creek find it might be tough. I was looking at it last night and it has a stack on one side. Not saying it’s a Copena but that’s one of the characteristics of the type plus the base is ground. Hopefully someone will know if I make it to the next show.
