found a button

I got out today for some MD at a new place.I found 3 spencer CW bullets and one button,my cousin found 5 spencers and one colt pistol CW bullets.But we have no idea what kind of button this is.It looks to be almost flatten with a design on a gold lined front.The back mark is KENDRICK & CO *EXTRA*.Any help would be great.THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

I found a button with a Kendrick co. Extra backmark last week. I was told 1830's as an age for the buitton.

Yep. 1830s. And a pretty find. If you want to make it even more display-worthy, try aluminum jelly to clean the gold gilding.

Thanks for the replies but the button has already been cleaned with alum. jelly.The button has been smashed it looks like, but I like it.
