Hey, found 2 more today!! Rock house is producing for me. Moved couple rocks I figured were catch spots. I have found 3 with in 3 ft of each other, the two today were inches apart. The lighter one is so little and thin, see right through it. I’m pumped, little help identifying these two would be awesome. Thanks for checking it out ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571743.226424.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571757.346415.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571784.176696.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571796.603263.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571809.678463.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571832.420665.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584571844.287441.jpg

Help appreciated.

I can't help you with the identification but they are some beautiful points.

The second one from the left in the first pic looks like a Jack's reef pentagonal. A killer one at that despite the damage to it.

I’m Eastern KY area, that might help as well.

Putting your location in your profile here will save many questions going forward and expedite identification. I did it for this reason. I can not know why it is not required.

Killer finds , I think I would go Afton on the one that’s a point type iv always wanted to find that shape is really neat looking.

I have no access to productive land where I live, but on property many counties from here. So noting my location would be of no value in my profile...that being said the location of any items needing assist with an ID, general location would certainly be included (if known).

Thanks for all the feedback, very helpful ID info. I’m finding these on my place in E KY. And so the small thin one you guys think is a jacks reef or an Afton due to the pentagonal shape. It is 1.5” tall x 1 “ wide. Pretty small. Thanks again I’m learning, looked at the links and saw similarities to mine, input helps for sure

Very sure it's a Jacks Reef.

I just wanted to throw up my best from the past month. Before that, I had never found a piece of chert. I’m blown away with the stuff I’ve been pulling up in a couple rock house cave / rock overhangs here. Been on a pretty good run in between work days for sure. Just wanted to share

Definitely on a good run a few of those would make me be happy for rest of the season some really nice points your finding

If it helps I was an afton camp but after a bit of research I can believe jacks reef, seems to be on the small side to be an afton.

Not sure if I should start new thread or not. Just going to show what I found today. Lifted one large rock in the rock house, this point and the “tool?” Were underneath it!! I think I’m more excited about the tool, another first for me!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1584999821.178881.jpg
