I found this while looking fo shark's teeth in Venice, Florida.....any ideas?

It's a fragment.  Some part of a fossilized ?? that was broken up and eroded into a smoother chunk.  Possibly the edge of a bony fish's armor or trilobite shell.

Could also be the root and core and a bit of fossilized enamel from a larger shark's tooth that has been weathered away.

I have searched high and low. First thought, a cloven hoof. I don't think so
I respect Charlie's choice.
