looking in the out of doors for an illusion that one has convinced themselves is a

reality. And being that Fenn is an intellectual, he would likely get a greater thrill

from the illusion track. That is my take on that.

From the poem map:

"If you've been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace."

So then, on to the Blaze. This clue needs to be considered relative to the context as well as the cotext of the poem map. Therefore, after a false start, it became apparent to me that the word Blaze will follow the same pattern of all the other clues and have a mystical/Christian religion meaning, in keeping with the words that come before and follow the Blaze clue.

Why do you think that?

First let me say that I think this is outrageous. However I am just the interpreter.
I did not devise this joke. Fenn claims to be the author.

So then, preceding the word "Blaze" is, "the end is drawimg nigh". Immediately
following the word "Blaze" is, "look quickly down your quest to cease".
It appears that what we have here is the End Time, Judgement Day, the Rapture. If you
have found the Blaze (meaning if you have been SAVED in Christ), you could be taken up
in The Rapture at any moment for your quest as a Christian has been Heaven not riches of
the flesh. So "tarry scant with marvel gaze". Just look down as you ascend to Heaven in
The Rapture. But those poor brave souls in the Dark Wood are in Big Time Trouble. Fenn
is giving them title to the gold, and they are going to have to Go To mystical Hell to
claim it.

Good luck with that. Fenn appears to have secreted the illusion of his cache in
mystical Hell. Most likely in the mystical 9th circle of Hell, in the Frozen Lake. It's
only mind travel you know. You want my treasure? I'll see you in Hell first, is another
way for Fenn to say it.

pullig out of thin air? Seems to me you are just making stuff up to mesh with your

theory that Fenn actually hid a physical treasure in the out of doors but gave no clear

starting point and confusing directions. Only you know for certain why you are locked

up on that theory and can't let it go Frankn.

AS you mentioned, there is no starting point. In the poem there are just teasing, mystic lines similar to the ramblings of the Orical of Delphi. Hay he did give you an ending though, the blaze.
I don't think anything is hidden NOW, but in the future, a selected individual may come forward with the cache that was hidden the day before. That will be right before the next book. Get the picture now? The bait will stay out there until it is stale, then it will be reeled back in. lol Frank.

You see, after you have been around a while you begin to note parallels. There was a book written in the past about hiding a statue of a horse, made of gold if I remember correctly. I submit to you that you are making the mistake of approaching the Fenn poem map from your personal brain acitivity Default Mode. It is obvious to me that your personal default mode is causing you to project your views on the author of the poem map.

Sorry to disappoint you, no I would not have been able to resolve the poem on the multiple levels in what you call the default mode. I knew mystical or metaphysical solution before I knew the physical solution. I not trying to interpret the poem. The meaning on several levels was revealed to me. I can guarantee you, that i would have never been able to understand and know the stuff that is associated with this deal by reason or thinking. Those are limited to human brain capacity - the knowledge required is far beyond that. Without overiding your own reason, you cannot ever comprehend it in its complexity! This whole "hunt" is part of something much greater, much greater evil that is being perpetrated upon human race. It is beyond the rational mind. It is something we were warned off by religions, however imperfect in interpretation they might be. The essence was always the same, even though most was interpreted through the knowledge and understanding of people 2,000. - 5,000 or more years ago, which kept and still keeps us from clearly seeing the truth.(although not all religions were created for human benefit) But even religion is not aware of the horrible atrocities some members of the human race have brought upon us all, just by their greed and desire for the eternal life - not knowing of course that they were choosing an eternal hell and damnation.
So take me for my word, the treasure is real, as is also the danger in getting to it if you follow the poem clues. And of course there is the danger to your soul and body.
This stuff is more real than you think - on all levels.. This is not just some mystical mind game. Their MO is not to lie to you, their MO is for you to deceive yourself, because of your wishful thinking and misperceptions, your mind filling in what is not there, hearing and seeing things and making associations that they never said were associated and so on - therefore you and only you are responsible for your fall.

Illusion is to think and declare that there is nothing beyond what you can see. Isn't it interesting, that we are able to see but a sliver of the EM spectrum, but in our arrogance we declare that which we cannot see is an illusion, or our minds creation due to oxygen levels in the brain. I was contacted by Whiterock7 who has located the treasure. Apparently he sent a message with a pic to Fenn on May 17.
To protect himself from booby trapped spirit, he was planning on placing the box into the fire, and burning the whole box [ which Fenn was apparently afraid of, that's why he left the box unlocked]. Apparently the treasure was stashed in such a way, that your soul would be in danger, even just by getting to the treasure. So he took necessary precautions, but anyone seeking the treasure could still be in danger, just by passing through that danger zone, which could not be disabled, or by visiting with him, especially if you have small children..

So now you can stop looking.

What in your opinion would be an appropriate action? Should one go and physically remove it, even though it could have been specifically set for your entrapment? How do I know that just by holding it temporarily in my possession I would not activate the " title to the gold " which is a contract with the devil ( and then some) ? Even though I was not intent on keeping it. Should I be risking that, if I am not certain of those parameters? I do not know enough about their ways to guarantee my safety. But I was willing to put it all on a line for benefit of others, because I know the great force that is with and within me, but something is holding me back, like there some other aspect that I am still missing. So my mission here was at least to warn those who would listen, and I know for a fact that several of you have heeded the warning.

Btw, I do believe that it was already found by one individual - one of the darklings. Nevertheless the trap is still active, simply because of the multi dimensional aspect of it, which will allow them to claim it as still not discovered. Maybe the best thing would be to expose it publicly. Those who trust in God will see its nature clearly an will leave it alone, others are already corrupted and belong to devil already. I have considered many option as what to do and whatbto do with it, but they all come to a pointless end. Maybe the best thing is to let those who are evil do evil for little longer, than those that faithful stay faithful till the end. The end is ever drawing nigh..it is very close.
