Back in the mid 70's to the early 80's The Coors Brewing Company came up with an interesting idea for opening their beer cans. You had to push the little one in first, then you could push the big one in. If you did the little one just right, it kinda sounded like a fart. Really! ;D To bad everybody didn't follow suite. Would have saved us a lot of trouble.
Found this one out walking my dog in an old dump.

If I remember right too many people cut their fingers opening the big hole so they had to re-engineer them. Too bad...

I remember those! When I was home on leave back in 1978 I remember picking up a 6 pack at my local 7-11.
Nice memory.... 8)

Hahahaha learn something new everyday, I never seen that before! :hello2:

Great post!
even when I've brought this subject up with people of that era, they don't remember this transitional style, only used for a short period in the mid/late 70s if memory serves me. I was delivering papers at the time, and a can of 'tonic' was mandatory. It was also used for soft drinks.

I was just a kid in those days but here in Canada all our pop cans (Pepsi, Coke) had these type of tops. I remember them well.

And yes, if you opened the little hole slowly working your finger back and forth to let a little gas out at a time you could get multiple farts out of it! Aahhhhh the memories..... thanks for sharing that blast from the past!
