Could be anywhere with an arid climate. Looks like someone's blue tent up in the rocks.

Hey, Desertmoons that looks like a place in Turkey call Capadocia lots of carved out dwellings in the rocks and home of the early Christian church in that part of the world. Am I right? Just a quess. The Plumber.

OK, just for funzies.

(1) skull w/cracked bell laying on it's side.

(2) large hand reaching down as pulling the lid off of container.

(3) face profile wearing crown, with smaller profile looking at crown. Crowned face has hand up to mouth= I have a secret to tell/covered opening. Pathway above crown, leading to spot someone has cleaned out.

Interesting. The hand really stands out..doesn't it.

On 1, I noticed letter(s) above the two holes, and in the back ground hill, looks like a 7 or other ground modification to me.

On 3, that looks like roman numerals and some letters to me ..I guess at base of the crown.


Who knows if it was a tomb or something else back there.

Often I learn a lot more when I can keep my eyes and ears OPENED and my crayons in their box.

Heh..SS you are always welcome to play! Maybe the crumpled metal was from a war. It looks big.

Oddrock, I know..kind of surprising. No secrets to give away on this one (that I am aware of).... I am surprised this is in Israel. The "I've got a secret" is such a cool take on things." I was getting too detailed I guess. To me it is an eye opener about the ancestry of some of the symbols - maybe.

It all depends when those symbols were made.

I've found additional info or confirmation on the nails occasionally but do not see any here. I guess I will look around for other fun pics and post them here from time to time.

You marked a lot of good stuff, but you either missed a lot or chose to not mark everything. That's the reason I told Desertmoons that I was leaving my crayons in their box. If everything is marked in this one photo, the pic would be so cluttered as to be unuseable. I did stuff like that when I first came to this thread. LOL Desertmoons, Old Dog, Tertiaryjim, Oddrock, and many others had more patience than Job and helped me along in my learning curve. I STILL have to concentrate hard NOT to mark everything in many photos. This is NOT a critisizm of your marked up photo; just a clarification of what my own meaning was.

There are so many faces and heads in this one spot, I wonder if this might be a "secret" memorial groto. I mean, there are DOZENS of faces, including 2 LARGE one laying just behind that piece of metal, and "looking" straight up. The one has a nose like George Washington had........a Roman nose.

Come to find out, this area had Christians during the Byzantine era..I "think" starting 300 ad or so.

Well thanks Charlie. It does become harder but not impossible to find a fully natural area as time goes on I was looking for such an area and something else as a reality check when I ran across the above.

SS, I guess you go along any river or stream in a dry area you are going to find signs of one sort or another. Water yes.. so important.

Solar quadrants seem a likely thing to find. They have been around a long time. And often are large..for example, curved out rock in the old world. They do not involve constellations rather perhaps..more related to solstices or equinoxes in this hemisphere, given the religion.

In this hemisphere finding a solar quadrant of the old design would be fantastic. But I suspect the meso tribes used a different design.
