Had a real busy weekend, I had to get 250 acres of food plots planted for hunting season. I did not have artifacts on the mind, but did find a few and will be going back to look after the rains. First thing I found almost made me drop at first glance.View attachment 873656View attachment 873657But it is just a rock what a shame. I found this broken scraper that shows sign of heat treating and other worked stone.View attachment 873658View attachment 873659View attachment 873660This next flake shows the perfect bulb from knapping.View attachment 873661Then I found the best of all, a polished celtView attachment 873663View attachment 873664View attachment 873669View attachment 873672

Nice Celt! I found some flakes with the bulb and the wavy pattern today but just left them after looking at them. I use to pick them up but I have learned to leave them so when it rains I know there should be something else popping up in the future in that area.

Great finds!
I can imagine the roller coaster that little stone sent you on.. you're probably seeing effigy beads in your sleep.
