Folks, When I detect the silvers hide under a rock...lol.

Folks,

Went for an early afternoon hunt...the park is nearby circa 1900 so I'm sure there's still some silvers that were missed by me
and others.

Well for whatever reason the silvers must hide under a rock when I detect there....

5 coppers 1940 to 1957 and not a silver in sight.

I was just going to pipe in and say, "Start flipping those rocks!".
Since I detect a lot in Upstate NY, I have many Canadian coins. The machines here (vending/"coin stars") do not accept Canadian coins, so they just keep piling up. Maybe there will be a day when they do.

A good soaking of rain will probably give you a couple of inches more depth...plus those signals that barely register will be a more solid signal so some oldies
should be reachable going forward.

I go out most times and find no silver but its a lot of fun ya never know I recently spent 25 minutes digging under an old tree root finally got the coin it was a recent dime but 25 minutes of thinking I had an old coin was cool every one needs a good find once in a while!!! I met e guy who won the lottery in ohio for 3 million he worked at ford had 19 years in he was going to stay then he hit again for 13 million he quit ford and I would see him at this restaurant bar I used to go to after work I didn't know him really well but he told me that he could have anything he wanted and it changed him kinda like if you could afford to go out to dinner anywhere every night or go anywhere on vacation it loses the fun I can afford nights out once in a while and I enjoy it cause I earned it and cant do it all the time so the take away is {I should have won it not him} that finding silver once in a while can be sweeter when you work harder and appreciate it that much more!!!!!!! I will never know cause neither happens for me but when I do find it I think I appreciate it that much more than if I found it every time I went out..Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
