The next arrowhead I find is my favorite. I say that every time I find anything. I might have said my top 10 more than ten times but this Is truly my favorite.
The lithic is flattop chalcedony. Clovis? Clovis! The emotional! The metaphysical? The Coincidence.
We all have our own opinion and explanations, widely accepted ideas and life’s personal experiences.

I guess there are a lot of more high grade. When I find pieces with fire pops. It seems that flattop is broke up and not necessary IDable as far as an artifact. The kinds that show more heat treat are less translucent, more chalky or jasper-ish cortex.

Yes, I agree. It is plenty short compared to most I’ve seen. Your red piece is most beautiful also.

It does and some will say “closum” because of some of the similar, similarities. Dr.F called it Clovis as well as JChase a cast maker, I respect greatly but all agree it does have some morphology
