The next arrowhead I find is my favorite. I say that every time I find anything. I might have said my top 10 more than ten times but this Is truly my favorite.
The lithic is flattop chalcedony. Clovis? Clovis! The emotional! The metaphysical? The Coincidence.

Pure jewelry, Yupp, that’s what it is, and more..Are most of the flints up your way heat treated or just high quality...I like.

I guess there are a lot of more high grade. When I find pieces with fire pops. It seems that flattop is broke up and not necessary IDable as far as an artifact. The kinds that show more heat treat are less translucent, more chalky or jasper-ish cortex.

I can c why its ur favorite. Hopefully something will come along that may challenge this one. Good luck with that.

Cool! :icon_thumleft: Looks like it was later reworked.

It does and some will say “closum” because of some of the similar, similarities. Dr.F called it Clovis as well as JChase a cast maker, I respect greatly but all agree it does have some morphology

I don’t know what you’d call it, other than a master’s piece !! The material, and workmanship is beautiful !! Thanks for posting
