dug up last week and am just getting around to it. only info i have found is a full size one on ebay, which was nothing. it would be great if someone had a date for this guy. well, its sealed shut, and there is something inside. its probally old flash antiseptic, but could be someones keepsake. it was dug near a barb wire fence, maybe someone droped it while hoping the fence? maybe someone stashed it??? anyways should i try to open it, or should i leave it be. i dont want to soak it for fear of loosing the remaining paint.

Last tin I opened (Palmolive) had a Buffaalo Nickel in it. And I don't wait...if I can get that sucker open it's open.

inert ?????????? noooooo, thats what i thought about the chem bottles dug last year, some hissed why poured out, so no more assuming ne thing. :thumbsup:

sheesh, after i posted my post i fell asleep and had tons of pms when i woke up. i was like uh oh. what did i do? lol. im going to donate them to a local historical society or local museum, having found who was using them back when. i feel they are a important part of the area where found. i just need my alone time with them a little bit longer. :)
maybe i should go back and look for his skeleton, or it could have burned a hole in the guys pants and fell out without him knowing.....

Well, didn't think you were actually going to post it on ebay....just looked 14 hits so far...You might just sell it...that would be great...
oh, the chem bottles, they remind me of old bottles used by my grandfather to store formaldahide way back in the day. 8)

I think you would have a better chance of selling your hand cleaner if you showed a photo of the top of the tin. It would sure give people a better idea as to what you actually have listed for sale. You might also want to give the time period of when this was on the market.
I don't doubt you can sell it seeing as how some gal sells dog poop on e-bay and is, or was, doing very well at it, but she had a gimmick.
BTW, I have seen your post on the Chemical bottles but didn't know you had found out where they came from. So what did you find out and how did you find the information about them? Thanks, Highwater
