Hi guys,
My wife and I are new to the forum, but have been browsing for a while. I've got a Bounty Hunter she bought me for my birthday a few months ago, but I'm ready to upgrade. We got hooked on MD'ing so much, that I bought her a Garrett a few weeks ago. Now it's my turn, haha.
So, after HOURS of researching all the detectors, I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Minelab Xterra 30 or the Fisher F4. Which one would you guys pick if you had the choice.
By the way, I'm open to other suggestions as well. I do a lot of beach hunting and playgrounds etc. I live near Galveston. I prefer the digital readout as opposed to just knobs. I'm a newbee at this so the visualization part of it is important to me as I learn this great hobby.
So, out of those two, which would I be better of with? I'm trying to stay under $400, but get the most for my $.
