Fisher f2 coils

I found a place online in New Jersey, to order them. the cost for the smaller hunter (12.5x8.5) is a bit cheaper than the f-2 11" dd coil. I'm ordering the sharpshooter 9.5x5.5 for my f-2 & 4 and I'm gonna do a special order Hunter coil for the bounty hunter push in plug. for the other halfs 2200 & 3300 I was surprised at how well these coils worked. Depth with any coil is so dependent on so much, but the response and separation for these coils was very impressive.

Yep I have thought about getting one of these over the 11 DD coil. I have heard praise about the NEL 12x13 coil too.

Any links you could share with us? Cheaper thatn the DD 11" Fisher coil? Cool!

LINKS man..... LINKS!!!!

Ok then, I love asking questions...Between the 11"DD Fisher coil and the 12.5" Nel coil which one is better? So far I'm loving the DD Fisher coil with it's great depth and target separation qualities! Hey Opie, have u tried yours yet? Whats the verdict with your new nel coil....

Good info about EMI w/8'' coil, my F2 is a deep dime finder but can be really 'skitzy' for no apparent reason. I hunt the same area and had similar probs. w/Whites 6k. Will try the 10'' looks like they run a third the cost of a big NEL.

I swung the F4 back in 2014, loved it and my love affair with the DD coils began. The F4 can be ground balanced, but only in all metal mode. I am not one for the grunts it makes as I like to hear 3 or 4 tones. I have since moved up to an F75 LTD SE. Different size coils have specific uses. I always start hunting an area using the stock 9" x 11" DD coil. if the site is super trashy, I change to the 5" DD. If targets are sparse, I install the 12" x 15" coil. The only negative I can point out is that both the F2 & F4 take 2 9v batteries, were as the F70 and F75 series use 4 AAs.
