I don't fish this time of the year, so I'm usually making or fixing fishing rods. A good buddy helped me get a part for my furnace back in December so I asked him what kind of fishing rod he would like.
He said he'd like a two-piece Salmon and Steelhead spinning rod. So, I'm almost done making it and I decided to order a padded rod case to protect it. The case was just delivered by mail (United States Pulverizing Service) and the end of the box is crushed (no surprize).
Actually, I got lucky since Amazon blew it too and instead of receiving a rod case, they sent me some curtain rods...
...and the end of the curtain rod didn't survive the special treatment...
Well, I guess the rod cases must be stored right next to the curtain rods in the warehouse. Sent it back today and hoping the next shipment makes it here without being destroyed!
