My logic is .....say as of 1940 there was X amount of mercury in and near the waterways in gold country......and since then miners have removed x amount since then...with spikes during the increase of the spot price, say late seventies to early eighties again in the early nineties and yet again 2007 to 2009.....did we not remove mercury so there is less of it to cause a problem? At our own expense....what have the enviros done? Mandated the sale of poisonous light bulbs......makes total sense to me that we aren't allowed to remove more........NOT
