All Treasure Hunting
Went to my Aunts house yesterday with my cousin. She lives just past Warrenton, so we were hoping for lots of CW goodies. We didn't find all that many CW items but got a lot of colonial relics. I was hunting around this old cabin (1850's-1890's) and was digging every signal above iron. I dug up a piece of chain link, rescanned the hole and got a nice Wheatie(1935). Put the plug back scanned back over it and got another signal. Opened the hole back up and out popped a cut Spanish silver! I couldn't believe it! It was nearing the end of the hunt when I got an iffy signal in the front yard dug the hole checked the side wall and then fell a Large Cent! My first one in over 14 months! With digging the 1880 Indian early the LC just got me my first penny trifecta! The headless horsemen is made of lead, it looks like a Civil War solider by his dress and saber. Could it have been solider made? This was an amazing hunt to end out the year and hope this luck continues into 2014. Thanks for looking and HH!
