I had recently purchased an XP Deus but have only gotten to go out with it a couple of times. The XP Deus has a steep learning curve but I've read Andy Sabisch's book and watched a ton of YouTube videos so I finally felt confident with my knowledge of the machine. I did some research and located an old abandoned dirt road near my hometown. The road was overgrown but I was able to work a portion of it and found this;

I am definitely going back to this place after a hard freeze and am definitely going to spend more time researching this area! Thank you for looking, and happy hunting!

Nice! and not too common either. :icon_thumleft:

Nice piece of silver, congratulations! :occasion14:

Kills and knocks down the undergrowth. Ferns, long grass etc. Best time to detect after summer when you have spots that are too overgrown during the late spring and summer.

My gosh dude. You just pop that thing out of the box, walk out the door and boom! Find a coin I've been dreaming about for years. Nicely done!

Love Walkers, I think they're one of America's best designed coins. And there's nothing like seeing a half in the ground...'cept maybe a whole, am I right Mike? Congrats, I knew a techy like you would love the Deus.

My deus loves silver halves

Congrats on the silver. Super find.:icon_thumleft:6

It gets rid of the bugs too. Sometimes that's more important than the undergrowth!
