First Silver Coin

Found my first silver coin! Cleaned up pretty good but had a bunch of tarnish on it so I hit it with a little Tarn X and it cleaned up real nice. I know you're not supposed to clean them but I couldn't help it. It's my first old coin so I figure I'm not selling it anyway. Also found a Buffalo Nickel but it's in real bad shape.

The first is always the hardest. I agree with bk. Use a soft brass brush on the Buffalo and it will clean up a bit anyway.. Whatever you do, do not use electrolysis on a nickel. It turns Pink. I mean it. By the way, anyone interested in a Pink V nickel... Great quarter. Congrats...Lance
