I ran a errand in town today and on the way back I stoped at a park for a MD hunt. The area where I live is not very old . in my 3 years of Metal detetcing I never dug a silver coin; that is untill today!!! I got a strong dime signal down at 6''deep. I dug it up and looked it over for about 10 seconds :icon_scratch: , thinking this is realy clean for that deep. Then it clicked in my brain, 1963 SILVER DIME. I yelled and did a little dance around the hole.

Hey Extractor - CONGRATS!!!

What a feeling to get your first silver!!

I know what you mean about thinking it was clean for being so deep. When I was looking for my first silver Washington qarter, I found hundreds of clad quarters. When I saw the silver George, I thought the same thing - this isn't silver, but why is it so clean. I refused to believe it was silver until I saw the date. It caught me completely by surprise!

I hope you build the silver pile high this year!

Oh, and that avatar still rocks!!!

Congrate's on your Silver. It's going to be a great year!! I can feel it.
