UPDATE 19.2.2014

Road keep giving silvers (1 more/25 total ):)
Today plan was to chek another path in same forest, but to get on that path i needed to go over my dear:) silver road, and i say to myself if there is 24 silvers, there must be atleast one more :D and there was 1 more ! :D... after some time hunting nothing shows up so i moved on secund path as the plan was.

On secund path i found 1938 prety nice coin, i see that one first time so for moment i thought its gold one, unfortunatly its not but still nice one, atleast for me :). thanks for watch and read! :) (photo on page 6)
yeah btw, i manage to get some ID on some of those silvers: 7 are sultan Suleyman I “the Magnificent” (reign 30 Sep, 1520 – 7 Sep, 1566) mint in (Novaberde, Kayseriye, Novar, Sidrekapsi, Kratova) 1 is Sultan Selim I "the Grim" (reign 1512–1520)

It certainly looks like a hammered silver coin. I couldn't tell you if it is Turkish or not.

EDIT: A picture of the other side along with approximate location of where you found it. What country at least.

Nice find! I'm not an expert but it sure looks like some type of medieval Arabic coin. Yes, I would call that a serious find

hammered something:icon_thumright:

3rd day in row on same spot:

A breathtaking day in the woods, at first everything was icy, but when the sun came out of the fog began to melt the ice off the branch and then it looked as if the rain falls, and everything was getting wetter, so I ended up with hunting, here are some pictures of it :)

Very impressive finds. Are there any coin collectors or dealers in the area where you live? You need to get them looked at and identified. Not to mention keep hitting that site!

Dads thoughts (but only guessing):

'Although I have little experience in the above and only know a few Arabic symbols, I believe the hammered coins turning up for mihmar79 are probably Turkish Ottoman types.'

thanks Crusader for your dads and yours thoughts!... yeah very probably they are , becouse we have so called "100 years war" with turks here, from krbavska battle 1493. till sisacka battle 1593. , so i guessing, u and your dad, thinking good about arabic simbols and turkish otoman type, but im even more courius about what period of long otomans history they are, if someone can know or guess :O :)
