First time trying to upload pics so not sure if I did it properly. Hit an old farm site that dates around 1830. Used Andy's coin program from his book and just dug every good tone I picked up. Needless to say I dug a lot but I wanted to clean the site out anyhow. First impression of the Deus ''amazing", it's ability to discriminate is unreal. Pulled a 1927 wheatie from underneath an old rusty nail no problem. I still have several more miles to put on this machine to get a full grasp of its strengths. But i'm looking so forward to that its not funny. If by chance my pics did upload, need a little help with an I.D. on the token or medallion I pulled . Thanks

Great job your first time out! You have taken your first step into a larger world [emoji106]

Charles Sumner token is awesome. Does not correspond to google searches of similar tokens I saw listed, but cool nevertheless. Just look up Charles Sumner in wikipedia for background on the Senator from Massachusetts and you can also search on Charles Sumner token to see some other versions of the token that have been documented. Cool find.

Hell of a first run! Awesome

Thanks fella's. So, second hunt with the DEUS yesterday and I thought for a split second I had a bucket list find. She is wore down so badly I will be hope alive:laughing7:Cool looking buckle of sum sort too.20170415_114011.jpg20170415_114224.jpg

Great finds.
Keep at it
Your buckle thing is a lyre. It's for holding sheet music in marching bands.
