First ring ever

Got my first ring today and its the first piece of silver I ever dug....best part is that it was in my own backyard!

Lol thanks everyone....I have found some cool stuff in our yard....house was built in mid to late 40's.....dug close to 30 coins so far but all clad and only as old as 64 on a penny.....I still have hope for silver coins here though....I have a good spot where a colonial flat button has turned up and an 1876 Indian head but its still nice to walk right out back and try my luck....and glad it fits the wife...I have wanted a metal detector for years and this past xmas she got me a Teknetics Delta 4000....very easy to learn on and didn't break the bank buying it.....I would love to get the AT pro gold someday soon mainly because of its waterproof and submersibilty but I tell ya for the money this detector is awesome in my opinion.....found some great stuff in a short amount of hunts and the pinpointing is unreal.. though I have nothing to compare it to,through reading reviews and comparisons this detector gives so much bang for the buck.....thanks again everyone and Happy Hunting!

It is cool she got it for me....she wanted one too when we talked about it...just hard to get her out too with the kids but I will someday and I know she will be hooked as well
