It was high tide when I got to the beach yesterday so I decided to hit the park accross the street. I was nervous about it but figured I would give it a try. I turned on the md in the parking lot and got a hit where I was standing. Dug up a dime at 2 inches. I went to a area by the benches and quickly received the tone for a penny. It was at about 7 inches deep. I hit 12 pennys in around a 10 foot area all at around 6 to 7 inches. I decided to try a differant area of the park and hit more pennys. This place is full of them. I dug up 37 pennys 4 pull tabs and three bottle caps. Great practice at digging but other coins would have been good. I am told it is a older park so I will be gioing back next week and try again. The county police stoped and watched me for a while and then drove off so next time i will be a little less nervous. It was a good day.
