Hi all, I am an Indian Artifact collector at heart but I couldn't pass up a good opportunity.
The plant I work at owns several properties around it. I asked the plant manager
permission to hunt around the oldest home as they plan to let the local fire dept.
conduct a planned burn and practice with it.
I got my old detector out, dusted it off,and gave it a go.
I found my first silver coin and it was a doozy---A standing Liberty quarter.
After that I managed a few silver dimes in the backyard as well as lots of wheats.
I took the front yard by storm and pulled a merc.,barber dime and buffalo nick out
off the same hole. It took a few trips but today's will be the last for a while----
I hear those Indian Artifacts calling for me.

Great stuff there! You should consider trying to find out whether they had an outhouse, or a trash pit. You might get luckier than you are already. Kudos!

You had a great day..what year is the Buffalo looks to be a early one in good shape.
