Hello all. Recently one of my cousins contacted me and asked me if I would like to detect around his house. It use to be a store back in the 30s and 40s and in the 60s was turned into a home. Found pounds of junk and a bit of clad. Nothing to interesting until I asked them to put up their ferocious dog so I could search around the well. I dug up a 1946 rabies vaccination dog tag. But what I didn't know until a while later is that finding that dog tag gave some evidence of a kinda disturbing story. When I told my cousin about the tag he replied that's creepy because an old lady a few houses down that everyone thinks is crazy told them that the original owners would throw their pets that died down the well. So maybe the lady isn't all that crazy. I also found what I thought was a token at first but after I cleaned it off I don't know what the heck it is. If anyone can help ID it I'd appreciate it. HH
