crusader took me to a place today in search of my first hammered coin and i got one ;D
also got a very nice roman silver which crusader will post a better pic of later, along with another seven roman coins!

the hammered is elizabeth 1st
i had a chewed up/off token from the 17th century
and a 1717 farthing(cant remember the type)

the silver roman is from 119ad :icon_scratch: i think

Thats a much better picture. I can see the date on the 17th century token, 166?. Still can't quite narrow it down enough. Can you do a picture of the other side?

I agree, it might take time to sink in. I know he's pleased with it, but I think in 2 years time he will be more pleased :)

Found out the full details of the 17th century token (brass Farthing):

Joseph Braban Hosyer of Kings Lynn - 1666. The other side has a picture of a stocking.
