My brothers first half dollar ,,,,,well kind of!!! ,,, Hey ,,,I guess its silver!!! what a first half.

We hunted a old house in town today , found a few keepers ,,,old sheriff's badge ,some wheaties , and 1907 I.H.

Couple of old buttons,, average stuff!!!

now that I think about it I have found items that were just under a bed of coals (ash) and they looked very similar to that... so I bet someone made a fire over that spot.

I wonder if it was something electrical that did that. And I think it probably was later than a 64'.

Good god have you not ever seen a walking liberty half before,,

As Call me a Plumber said you haven't shown us the date side of the coin so I had know way of knowing how old it was. But because of the way the inside of the coin is melted out , it makes sense that it was clad and the copper core melted out. Whatever the cause.
