I've had my new Vista Gold for a couple weeks now. I finally scored some gold at about 4" today.
I thought it passed the 14k acid test but the eyelet thing says 10k. Maybe my acid is old. The eyelit was seperate from the pendant. I feel lucky to have found it.
I made the mistake of washing the pendant with a toothbrush. 6 of the 36 stones came out when I did that. Probably because the pendant's bent a little. I found one of them in the sink. The other 5 are history. That's a first for me. Good thing they don't test as real diamonds. Could be cz's.
Another first for me is this brass spit valve off of a trumpet or something. It was almost dark when I found it Sunday and on the way back to the car I found the brass screw in the dark that goes to it about 20 feet away. Both were about an inch deep.
