Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted or replied much in the last week but work has been unbelievably busy. I want to throw this one out there, last Saturday during a club hunt I found my first silver foreign coin, that meaning a coin not minted in the United States.

After a long day of clad and junk I finally found a cool keeper, 1880H Canada 10 Cent coin. It's in rough shape but what the heck I'll take it.

Another interesting find was a New Jersey seal button face from a two-piece button which I believe is pretty old.

Enjoy the photos and happy hunting.

Congrats on your first foreign silver and that button is cool!

MAN LIKE THE JERSEY BUTTON OR TOKEN ....

Excellent hunt,, a silver coin is a silver coin
I think I have found a total of 5 foreign silver coins this year.

Nice silver Victoria dime! That's sterling silver purity too! Higher silver content compared to other silver coins :treasurechest::thumbsup:

I think it's definitely a button, here's a picture of the back, it's missing the second piece that would have a shank.

Only five? Out of all that silver you found this year!

Lol. [emoji1]

Nice find on the old Canadian dime. I found a nice 1882 Canadian dime few years back. My favorite find to date. Nice button also.

Great finds.
congrats on your first foreign silver.
