First finds of 2009 with my Prizm 4 UPDATE!!!

Went out to the Maverick site today and only detected the site where the chimney still stands. I went to the soybean field behind the hay barn but found nothing. Decided to detect in front of the barn and found the wheaty(1929). Kinda hard to see. Went about 10 feet out and found the dime(1971). Went to where the outhouse still is and started to detect and got a got penny signal. Said it was about 4" down. Cut the plug and out popped a big copper. At first I thought it was a KG copper, boy was I wrong. Got home and started to clean it and seen the work Luck and then I knew it was a good luck token. Here are the pictuers and HH and Have a Great New Year.

Thanks. We have been through there and found the drain tube from the house. Solid iron pipe i think. Also found power lines running through there to one of the barns that use to be there.

This is one of those places that we have to comb through five or six different times just to get around the trash. Like Chris mentioned, we've dug pipes, wires and all sorts of of crazy stuff outta' there. I believe we even have a tractor's battery box (this thing was huge!) from there.


Chris - way to go on that killer token! That's two good-luck tokens in as many weeks for you buddy - yeah, I'm a bit jealous... :P

Your coppers will come my friend - just use some of that grass seed Joe brought you...

Or, you could look between where the outhouse is, and where the chicken-coop was.

That would be the most satisfying for the soul.

The thing is we dont know where the chicken coop was. we have an idea but not sure where it was. Thanks plehbah.
